About

I am Diego Mena, a Design Lead with extensive experience as an Art Director. I hold a degree in Industrial Design focusing on Visual Programming (BA) from the Faculty of Fine Arts of São Paulo, Brazil (Faculdade de Belas Artes de São Paulo).

My career began as a Graphic Designer, where I honed my foundational skills and passion for creativity. I eventually became an Art Director at leading advertising agencies in the Dominican Republic, including Pagés BBDO, McCann Erickson, and Leo Burnett. In 2013, my wife and I co-founded Multilayer, a boutique audiovisual production and design studio.

Since relocating to Canada in 2017, I have worked as a Senior Graphic Designer for Cineplex Digital Media and Lighthouse Labs. As a Design Lead, I have successfully managed brands across digital, print, and social media platforms, collaborating with high-profile clients such as 7-Eleven Canada, Amazon Luna, Meta, Meta Quest, Chelsea FC, Dr. Squatch, Slurpee Canada, Jack Daniels, and Liquid IV, among many others. Leading talented design teams, I have consistently delivered innovative and impactful projects while ensuring their success at every stage.
